The programs offered range from on-duty basic skills instruction to
vocational and college programs.
On-post classes are provided through Troy State University, Upper
Iowa University and Chattahoochee Valley State Community College, with
Columbus State University and Columbus Technical Institute within close
commuting distance.
Financial assistance is provided through Army Tuition Assistance,
Veterans Educational Assistance Program, the old G.I. Bill/Montgomery
G.I. Bill and various grants, loans and scholarships.
Education counselors are available at the Education Center in
Soldiers’ Plaza to assist in career, vocational, and professional
development.
