Newly arriving Soldiers will report to the Personnel Processing Center, located at Soldier’s Plaza, Building 2622. Hours of operations are Monday through Friday from 0800 - 1700. Soldiers arriving after duty hours will report to the Replacement Detachment located at Building 2819 (off Dixie Road). We are closed on weekends and holidays. If you are married and are coming here for basic or AIT, remember this is a temporary stopping place. Once you have completed training, you will receive orders and most likely leave Fort Benning. It is not a good idea for your family to move here with you. You will not have the time to visit your family and may be unable to even speak with them. Until you are ready to make your first move after completion of training, it is best not to uproot the family. You will have a great deal on your mind, with a full schedule, and you need to focus on training.
