When comparing crime rates of the cities and towns of our region to those of other communities in Georgia and Alabama, it’s easy to understand why the Chattahoochee Valley area is recognized as one of the nation’s top places to work, live, and raise a family. Our communities’ statistics also compare favorably with those of the "25 safest cities in America."
Law enforcement agencies in the Chattahoochee Valley take a vigilant, proactive approach to protecting property and safety of all residents. Experienced, trained professionals utilize the latest resources and technology to mitigate criminal activity. In addition to enforcement, these agencies also act on preventive levels through citizen education initiatives, community outreach projects and participating in the organization of "Neighborhood Watch" programs.
