The Chattahoochee Backwaters, north of Columbus, on Lake Harding, has tent & trailer camping, playgrounds, picnic facilities, boat ramps, fishing, public & private facilities.

At Golden Park, Lumpkin Blvd, Columbus, baseball season runs Apr-Aug.

Golf is a year-round sport in the tri-community & available at numerous courses, to include the Follow-Me Golf Course, Ft. Benning, (706) 687-1940.
