IMPORTANT UTILITIES NOTE: Utility deposits may be waived under the Utility Deposit Waiver Program at the Ft Benning Utility Coordination Center, Bldg 2633, (706) 687-9446/9447. Service charges and connect fees still apply but may be billed with the first month's service; telephone connect charge can be billed in three installments. (Waivers available for Columbus, Ga. and Fort Benning, GA.) (ONLY) Bldg2633, (706) 545-5485 Mon-Fri 8a.m.-4:30p.m. CAFRP provides classes and individual assistance in all aspects of financial management to include check writing, budgeting, insurance, investing, credit management, home buying/selling, and financial planning for relocation, deployment, and retirement. Individual assistance begins with intake, held every Monday at 8:15a.m. The UCC is designed to provide a one-stop service for Soldier while inprocessing. A Soldier may have water, electricity, gas, and telephone services initiated. In most cases, a deposit is not required if the Soldier has good credit. Soliders clearing post will have their utility services terminated and receive an estimated final bill. All past due amounts, final bills, and estimated final bills must be paid in order to clear.
