Schedule appts for shipment/storage as soon as PCS or TDY orders are
received. Call (706) 545-3156, 0730-1630 Mon-Fri.
Moving Tips:
*Arrange transfer of schools records *Use change of address cards,
available at the post office to notify: Savings and Loan, Credit Union,
Credit Cards, Banks, Friends, Relatives, Magazines. *Notify companies
and services at your current address of cut-off date and final billing
address. *Make sure the moving company plainly labels all packed boxes.
*Arrange for special shipments of your most valuable items. You will
probably choose to carry these valuables with you or send by insured or
registered mail. *Your carrier will only transport plants if your new
destination is not more than 150 miles away and doesn't take longer than
24 hours to reach. *Call your local transportation office at your losing
installation if you have any questions or concerns about your move.
