Mechanic Repair Program hours of operation are Tue-Sat 10-6 PM. Drop off vehicles for repair, estimate, and diagnosis of vehicle problems. There is a normal 2-day backlog (AER jobs take priority over normal customer repairs.)

Quick Lube Service hours of operation are Mon-Fri 1-8:15 PM, Sat & Sun 10-5:15 PM. Approximately 15 minutes while you wait.
Quick Lube Service includes Castrol GTX oil, name brand oil filter, top off fluids (Brakes, windshield washer, power steering, and auto transmission), grease chassi, and check air filter and PCV. Air filters can be replaced, if needed, at an additional charge during the quick lube service. Charge includes hazardous waste fee.

The Arts and Crafts Program offers two car wash facilities. Each facility is open 24 hours a day. The Main Post Car Wash, Building 105, is across from Burger Kingthe Mall Car Wash, Building 9231, is at the east end of the commissary .
The laundromat on Main Post is located in Building 1683, adjacent to the Main Post Car Wash, and is open 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily. A laundromat is located in Building 9079, Kelley Hill Recreation Center, for the soldiers at Kelley Hill.
The Chattahoochee Valley-Fort Benning Chapter of the
Association of the United States Army is one of the 155 AUSA chapters located
throughout the United States and overseas. The local chapter is one of the
largest.AUSA is a private, nonprofit, educational organization dedicated to
maintaining a strong national security with special interest in all components
of the Army.
At the national level, AUSA focuses on four principal areas:
¨ Education of the public about the Army and its objectives.
¨ Industry liaison to inform them on the needs of the Army, now and in the future.
¨ People support (including adequate pay comparable with the civilian sector, adequate family housing worldwide or a housing allowance, full medical and dental care facilities for all, to include retirees, an equitable retirement system, adequate commissary and exchange systems).
¨ Professional development of all soldiers.
At the local level, the chapter’s motto is "Service to the Soldier." The chapter supports an extensive awards program to recognize outstanding soldiers, including noncommissioned officer, soldier, drill sergeant and instructors of the year, presentation of ROTC scholarships and Troy State University scholarships, and hundreds of plaques and other awards given throughout the year to deserving soldiers. The two bowling centers, each with 24 lanes, offer the latest synthetic lanes, technology and computer scoring.
The Mall Bowling Center (682-7781) is located in Building 9232 on Santa Fe Road;the Main Post Bowling Center (682-7777) is located in Building 2785 on the corner of Sightseeing Road and Eckel Street .
Both centers offer a snack bar serving breakfast and short orders and lounge facilities.
In addition to open-lane bowling, each center offers league bowling, bumper bowling, Pot-o-Gold bowling, Red-Pin, birthday parties, snack bar specials, hail and farewell parties, etc.
Chatters Bar and Grill, at the Mall, is a full-service bar and grill offering four television sets and the latest in laser disc sound systems.
AFTERHOURS ENLISTED CLUB

The newly built Afterhours Enlisted Club was named by its patrons, usually members of the Better Opportunities for Single Soldiers Program.
The club features a ballroom, which can hold up to 400 people, and has a moveable partition to create two rooms. This allows the club to host a variety of musical and dancing events simultaneously. It also has more than 20 high-tech video games, three pool tables and electronic dart games.
The club also offers a high-energy nightclub atmosphere with two elevated disc jockey booths, control lights, sound and video projectors. The lighting system is synchronized with audio for pinspots, strobes and pulsating enhancement. The ceilings over the dance floor are mirrored to enhance the lights. When a live band is not performing, the DJs use compact discs to create the best sound possible.
The club features a built in Subway Sandwich Shop, an Arcade with the latest games, movies every evening on a projection television, and sports on several individually controlled television sets.

Fort Benning has one of the finest clubs in the Army, offering both formal
and informal facilities. Officers, active duty and retired, and Department of

Bradley’s Bar & Grill. Little Caesar’s delivers to the entire main post and

OFFICERS’ WIVES’ CLUB
The Thrift Shop, the major ongoing OWC activity, provides a convenient and reliable resale service for quality used merchandise, and new handmade crafts. Profits from these sales support welfare projects to include scholarships for high school graduates, grants for adult continuing education, and donations benefiting the Tri-Community. The club also operates the School of Performing Arts, which includes classes in sewing, Spanish, piano, tap, and jazz.
In addition, the Officers’ Wives’ Club operates a Furniture Barn which has lawn, garden and household furnishings, large appliances, televisions, carpeting, children’s furniture, toys, wall hangings and many unusual items.
The OWC also operates the Craft Cabin which is an arts and crafts boutique. The creative talent of military men, women and family members is displayed here. All items are for sale and special orders may be placed for some items.
Items for all three shops are accepted on consignment. If not sold within a given time period then the articles become the property of the Thrift Shop, Dixie and Ingersoll Roads unless withdrawn. When sold, the shop charges a commission.
Consignments are accepted 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Thursday, and late night on the first Friday of each month. Articles should be taken to Building 229 on the corner of Dixie and and Ingersoll Roads

The Follow Me Golf Course, a 36-hole course located on Main Post, is open to all military (active duty and retired), their family members and Department of the Army civilians. A driving range, practice putting green, snack bar and pro shop are located in and around the clubhouse. The pro shop has instructors to help beginners and experienced golfers. Golf clubs, hand carts and electric carts are for rent. Tournaments for the entire family or individuals are held throughout the year. For tournament information call 687-1940. The Fort Benning Riding Stable is located on Main Post near the intersection of Marne and Stonewall Roads.
Experienced instructors are available for lessons (using rental horses) by appointment only Monday through Saturday.
The club also provides an excellent stabling facility for privately owned horses. Both paddocks and barn stalls are available. Fees are reasonable and include feeding twice daily.
A variety of riding activities are available. The club maintains an extensive trail network, riding rings, a barrel-racing ring and a dressage ring. Additionally, the French Field cross country course is available for use by club members.

HUNTER CONTROL
Outdoor Recreation operates Equipment Rental and Storage, and during hunting season Hunter Control. Hunter Control is a computerized telephone call-in program designed to allow maximum use of available hunting areas while distributing the hunter/hunting area ratio evenly. It also provides a quick, positive means of identifying missing hunters.
Georgia State Hunting and Fishing Licenses and Fort Benning Hunting and Fishing Permits are available here as well as at the Uchee Creek Army Campground and Marina.
EQUIPMENT RENTAL
The Equipment Rental and Storage Office offers canopies, tables and chairs, smokers and cookers, and a variety of sporting equipment for rent. Also available is a secured storage area for recreational vehicles and locker storage modules in a variety of sizes. Registration for use of the Lemon Lot sales area is available here.
The Sports Section is responsible for organizing and conducting Department of the Army sports programs hosted by Fort Benning, post-level sports programs, company-level intramural sports program. In addition, the Sports Section is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the gyms/field houses, fitness centers, tennis courts and athletic fields. The Aquatics Section operates one indoor swimming pool year round, and four outdoor pools, located on Main Post,Hall St Kelley Hill,Recreation Center,Sand Hill, and Custer Terrace, Kandle dr during the summer. KING’S POND RECREATION AREA
King’s Pond Recreation Area is located in the Harmony Church area off Hourglass Road. A small fishing pier, low level playground equipment, picnic tables and grills are readily available in the area. Facilities are on a first-come, first-serve basis.
RUSS POND RECREATION AREA
Russ Pond Recreation Area is located on Main Post, behind the McDaniel Manor housing area on Clark Road. A picnic pavilion with fireplace, latrine facilities, picnic tables, grills and low-level playground equipment are available. Fishing in Russ Pond is restricted to children only.

UCHEE CREEK ARMY CAMPGROUND/MARINA
The Uchee Creek Army Campground and Marina is located on the Alabama side of Fort Benning 10 miles from Main Post.
From Fort Benning, take Dixie Road to Sightseeing Road around Lawson Airfield, across Eddy Bridge, then left on 101st Airborne Division Road and watch for the signs.
The 215-acre recreation area offers fishing boats with motors, canoes, self-contained and pop-up campers, barbecue smoker/cookers, portable generators, cots, tents, lanterns, camping stoves, ice chests, sports equipment and pontoon party boats for a minimum fee.
There are 42 log cabins available for rent which sleep four to eight people. Cabins are furnished with cooking and dining utensils, stove, refrigerator, heat and air conditioning. Towels, soap and sheets are not furnished. Pets are not allowed in the cabins.
The campground has sites with complete hook-ups (water, electricity and sewage) and other sites with electricity and water only. A comfort station with shower, toilet, and laundry facilities is located within the campgrounds. A dump station is located nearby. There are 18 and 29 foot Coachmen trailers available to rent for use at Uchee Creek or for on the road.
Picnic tables and grills are available for family outings or unit functions on a first come, first serve basis. Picnic pavilions are available for rent.
A swimming pool is available for use by Uchee Creek residents. Non-residents and guests may purchase a daily pass to the pool.
The Country Store offers snacks, drinks, live bait, fishing supplies, ice, state and post hunting and fishing permits.
In addition, a recreation lodge that features a complete kitchen is available on a reservation basis. Reservations can be made at the Country Store, 545-7238/4053.
DESTIN, FLORIDA Destin Recreation Area
The U.S. Army Infantry Center Recreation Area, Destin, Florida, is located on a 12 ½ acre tract on Choctawhatchee Bay, approximately 220 miles from Fort Benning.
There are two-bedroom duplex cabins that sleep six people, three-bedroom cabins that sleep 10 people and a motel with two double beds per unit. All cabins are fully furnished and all motel rooms have a microwave oven, refrigerator and coffee maker.
The campground has 50 RV pads with full hookups. A bath house with shower, toilet and laundry facilities is located adjacent to the campgrounds.
Rental equipment available includes deep sea fishing boats, paddle boats, jet skis, pontoon boats, and boat slips for customers’ personal boats.
There is a volleyball
court, playground, swimming pool, sandy beach and lighted pier available at the
recreation area.
No pets are allowed at the recreation area. Reservations and information are available from the Outdoor Recreation Office, at 545-5600
The Community Recreation Centers are located in Kelley Hill, Building 9079, rand Sand Hill, Building 3308. Sand Hill
The Centers provide a friendly, attractive, recreational and leisure atmosphere for service members and their families. Available at the centers are television and movie rooms offering forty-six inch TV screens, board game areas, pool tables, air hockey, foosball, video games, musical instruments and sound proof booths, table tennis, Nintendo game rooms, CD players and radios, and an auditorium for special events. The activities vary from ethnic and patriotic observances to pool, table tennis chess and card tournaments. Snack bars are in each facility.

The Fort Benning Rifle and Pistol Club is located on English Range in Building 8006, on Dixie Road across from Infantry Hall.
The club has 36 firing points for both rifle and pistol with a maximum range of 500 yards. The hours of operation are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday and Sunday, and from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday during the winter.
The Fort Benning Rifle and Pistol Club is a private organization sanctioned by Fort Benning. A yearly membership fee of $30 (which includes spouse and children under 18) is required in order to use the facility. E-4 and below have a membership fee of $24. Bona-fide TDY personnel (includes IOAC/IOBC) may purchase quarterly or semi-annual memberships at $15 and $20 respectively.
The club has rental weapons at a very reasonable rate. A Combat Match, designed for both new and experienced shooters, using stock equipment, is held monthly. Special Training and Competitive Events such as the "Glock Match," "Gunsite Training Course" and "Ladies Only" personal protection course are held yearly. The Boy Scouts offer a youth program for boys ages seven to 21 through Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts and Explorers, and for girls ages 15 to 21 in the Explorer program. These programs give youth the opportunity to learn and participate in activities that would otherwise not be available. There are 25 units and more than 1,200 scouts in the Fort Benning district. In addition to the meetings and other activities, there is a scout camp at Fort Benning.

Girl Scouting highlights a girl developing her self potential, relating to others and contributing to her community. Through troop activities and programs, young girls learn leadership and skills that will last them a lifetime.
All girls between the ages of five and 17 years of age are eligible to join. Troops are formed according to the age level: Daisies, Brownies, Juniors, Cadettes and Seniors.

As of Jan. 2000, Youth Services became the Middle School and Teen Program. This program provides leisure time recreation programs which are designed to meet the needs and interest of youth family members ages 11 through 19.
Various leisure time recreation activities for younger family member throughout the year, i.e., visit Santa, Post Easter Egg Hunt and Halloween activities are examples of activities.
All classes and sports programs are open to youth family members age 4 through 15.
The Main Center, located on McIver Street, has a Snack Bar, Gymnasium, Outdoor Swimming Pool and an 18 x 24’ NASCAR Race Track. The center also features a waiting area for parents and younger children who have brother or sisters in our various classes.
Programs include Ballet, Piano, Tae Kwon Do, Baseball, Football, Basketball, Cheerleading and Soccer. Special events and theme parties are scheduled throughout the year.
Youth Services host a Post Carnival each year around the month of April. The Carnival consists of 25 to 30 rides, various game booths and food concessions.
