The Fort Benning Commissary is one of the Army's' largest facilities. The
Commissary stocks well over 11,000 items. All patrons, including military
personnel in uniform must show an ID card when using the Commissary.

Ft Benning Commissary The renovated commissary sales area is over 47,000 square feet. The new produce sales area has been increased 360%. The number of line items stocked has increased from 200 to over 400 items. Additional new sections added include an on-the-premise bakery, and hot foods to include pizza and rotisserie chicken. A CB&T branch bank is also located in the store. A new state-of-the-art cash register scanning system will be installed, as well as new check stands, to allow customers to use bank debit cards to pay for their groceries. All customers, including military personnel in uniform, must show their I.D. at the checkout to the cashier before the order is processed. Personal checks will be accepted with proper identification, and will be approved for up to $25 over the amount of purchase, if requested. Telephone orders will be accepted with 24 hours advance notification for special order meat cuts, deli meat and cheese trays, fruit baskets and fruit and vegetable trays.
